Pat Somers
The Clark Griffith League announced that the Carney Pirates’ own Pat Somers is their Pitcher of the Week. Congratulations to Pat! Pat pitched seven superb innings against the Senators allowing only four hits and no earned runs. (He wants the ladies to know, he’s even better looking than this – he had just eaten some bad clams at East Carolina)

Carney Pirates Collegiate Baseball Club
The Carney Pirates compete in collegiate level baseball in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Headquartered in Virginia, most contests are in the Clark Griffith and Old Dominion leagues with the Pirates' home field at Paul VI High School in Fairfax, Virginia.
