Read (appropriately enough, the info is in bite-size nuggets) the following article to avoid the common college eating mistakes that could slow down your excellent college career. Pay particular attention to
1) taking the time to plan – map out a strategy, you’ve worked too hard to lose a competitive step over junk food
2) Don’t drink your calories – save it until you’re older and washed up, trust me, you’ll have plenty of time (hiccup!)
3) Feeling overwhelmed – call a friend, a Pirate teammate, or if you want, contact the Player Personnel Guy, with this website going dark, I’ll have twenty more hours of free time a day. I’ll tell you about inspirational players like Jim Abbott & Kirk Gibson, or “you think you’ve got it bad” stories like Dave Dravecky or outright dedication and commitment tales like Steve Carlton and Ryan Nolan or you can tell me about Josh Hamilton – heck, if nothing else, you’ll get some sleep, listening to me drone on.
So take a look and think about this article while matriculating and masticating at ol’ College U (easy, boys).
