Some hitters watch the opposing pitcher and say, “Oh good here comes a curveball pitcher”. Some hitters watch an opposing pitcher and say, “Oh good, here comes a fastball pitcher”. Mike Snyder watches an opposing pitcher and says, “Oh good, here comes a baseball pitcher”.

Once in a rare game where our Pirates pitchers were getting pounded, Coach Rowland called timeout, walked out onto the field and asked McMenamin ( the take charge field general, who calls all of the pitches for the game), “What kind of pitches has he been throwing?” Mike took off his mask and replied, “I don’t know, I haven’t caught any yet.”

Living Good

Pat Somers asked our Head of Fitness and Good Living Guru, Coach Snyder if he thought he would live to be 100 years old. Coach Snyder asked Pat if he ever smoked cigars or had a beer. “Nope, I’m a serious athlete, hoping to make it to the bigs”, replied Somers. Coach further inquired if Pat ever drove fast convertibles or fooled around with beautiful women, “Nope, I’m dedicated to my sport.” “Well then why would you want to live to be 100?” Coach Snyder wondered.
